      Facade to the citizens of SW Florida. Severe lack of facilities, personnel, and available beds.

      Not at all what they publicly display or advertise, and is one big false shellgame

      Cons

      Management in cohorts with LeeSar as an offload if funds portrays a caring well equipped multiple campus health system after it ran out competition when in fact stages patients in all hospitals in ER hallways sometimes fir days waiting for rooms. Cannot accommodate EMS incoming patients load thereby keeping much needed ambulance resources out of service. . Staffing is seasonal driven with yearly "surge" meetings trying to encourage and ramp up employees stating its temporary but in reality is permanent... If you need a hospital go to Charlotte County or Collier County

      My co-workers and the patients.

      Cons

      Worst hospital system that I have ever worked for. They are the only one in town and control 98% of the hospital beds in the county. Their management style is bullying. They have cut staff, benefits, and perks since their take over of HCA in 2006. The employees need a union. The patients need a choice.

      Can not think of one.

      Cons

      Lee memorial health system is corrupt to it's core. They treat their staff like trash and fire them for getting cancer. They let the upper staff go against policy and work from home but won't allow the lower staff to. You have to be a favorite to get anywhere. Jim Nathan could care less so don't bother going to him. He's more concerned about padding his pockets with Golisano money. It will all come to light though as Wink is running the story on how bad this system is.
