Since I've noticed so many bad reviews for Legal Monkeys here, which were left by employees who worked for the company when it was run by a completely different group of people, I wanted to set the record straight... I started here about 7 months ago and I have never had a job that has made me feel more valued or has cultivated my potential like Legal Monkeys has. To start, the training team does such great job of not only preparing you for the work, but they are also personally invested in your success BEYOND the completion of your training by availing themselves to answer any questions or concerns you have throughout your employment. The leadership here in general does such a great job of fostering a culture that encourages innovation, self-expression, and teamwork. One way this is done starts every morning in our group huddle where everyone is encouraged to share something they are grateful for and something they will accomplish that day. This is such a great way to not only allow each person to contribute to the positivity of the workplace, but it helps maintain a cohesion and camaraderie between the leadership and the RSS's. The company also encourages personal growth by not only allowing us to take (paid) time out of our day to read books, but through Better Book Club, we are able to receive up to $100 every quarter for doing book reports on books we have read. There's an EXHAUSTIVE list of qualifying titles to choose from, so there is something for everyone! We also hold regular activities and competitions that are not only fun, but are also designed to help us grow and play as a team. One such example is our upcoming trip to Waco Surf, completely paid for by the company in recognition of our hard work this quarter. Since I've been here, we've also had a pie baking competition, pot-lucks, and we've even had "Super Smash Brothers" competitions (for anyone who loves video games). They also not only offer competitive wages for entry level positions, but promote from within the company, so each person starting off has an opportunity to grow with the company. I seriously could go on and on, but I'll summarize this with a personal sentiment...I have never worked for a company that truly felt like family until I started working at Legal Monkeys. I usually wake up excited to go to work, and I never wake up dreading it. I've truly grown to love and care about every person I work with here, and that's largely due to the fact that Legal Monkeys brings out the best in it's employees.

The team here is so caring and fun! We live by our core values. One thing that a new hire recently expressed to me was 'I was so surprised to hear you guys tell each other 'I love you!'. When hiring people, I always tell them that we are a noisy bunch. We love to play music, play games, talk and just have fun. We are also very driven. It's hard to do mediocre work when your team around you is driven to be successful.
