Pros

- Individual contributors are empowered to make very significant product contributions. Multiple products and features were conceived and originally prototyped by individual engineers, and later launched publicly.
- Inventor CEO (David Fattal) is very technical and involved in the day-to-day. Expect to get swept into enthusiastic brainstorming sessions in optics, signal processing, UX design, deep learning, etc.
Cons
- Relatively unstructured and dynamic. Expect project priorities to shift rapidly in response to external partners, user feedback, etc.
- Fast-paced environment can be demanding. (flexible) hours seem similar to other Bay Area tech companies (arriving 10-11ish, leaving 6-7ish). Vacation policy is generous though: 4 weeks of PTO + holidays (note that paid time off includes both vacation and sick leave).
