-Great product line -High technology; satisfying challenges -Small teams -Efforts directly affect company growth -Focused, driven place to work -Some of the most professional personnel I ever met

Cons

-Unrealistic goals with little support -Very little growth potential due to on par competition; low profits. -The type of place where you care more about the business than Management -Danaher influence has eroded company confidence(layoffs, restructures that got rid of top quality people-Think of the consultants in Office Space).

Pros

Many great co-workers. Extremely dedicated people with a true passion for the Life Science Research products and customers. Constantly moving forward with many opportunities to learn. Good benefits. great pay and excellent 401k with Danaher Corporation as the parent company.

Cons

Surprise turnovers, many times some of the individuals I felt contributed greatly to the companies success were let go. Some mangers given too much power without the people skills to support the position. High stress levels and very demanding work loads.

Stable. Great reputation. Some really great people. Great technology. Danaher is a very Ethical company. Leica could be really great. Their Bond III platform is bullet proof

Cons

Very punitive managment style. Managers are miserable and they pass their anxiety downhill. Leica has lost some good people because of fear. You are always afraid that you will lose your job. Either by performance or opinion. .
