Great Company - Great People

Pros

Leica Microsystems is part of the Danaher corporation and therefore managed in a very efficient way. There are plenty of very talented and driven people across the organization. Leica invests a lot into new developments and since recently also spends a lot of efforts in employee satisfaction. Leica is making a lot of positive progress right now.

Cons

The company is fast paced. Initiatives or tasks that elsewhere take weeks are supposed to be done in days. This works often yet associates have to get used to it.

Pros

Most of the people in service are great but those exceptions are what made it a rough place to work for the last 2 years.

Cons

No communication from management or upper management. No connection between working hard and getting advancement or more pay.
