Pros

Leidos is a great company to work for work great management and great opportunities!

Cons

They could offer better leave and other benefits. There is no sick leave and you only accrue about two weeks of pto when you start.

Great experience depending on the government entity you are contracted with.

Cons

Complete lack of Leidos support while on the contract. Frequently changing policies and poor decisions. Massive turnover. Low pay. Predatory - hired my entire department at slightly above minimum wage during the pandemic (most of us have Master's Degrees) as we had no alternative. Most have now left, and they have no retention plan.

Aetna's Top Tier Health Insurance is worth paying the extra few bucks (That is why I'm rating it 4 stars) Tuition Reimbursement is good Continue education / Certification reimbursement I loved my immediate supervisor. That is not a pro with Leidos. Leidos is lucky they hired him. The job is quite easy once you get the hang of it. There is a lot to learn and it will come at you like a fire hydrant.

Cons

Compensation isn't reflected based on your work experience, it's based on your negation skills. Once you get your starting salary, good luck getting promoted. It's very difficult to get anything more than 5%. Upper management does not care about employee retention. Like at every job, once you show them you can do it well, accurate, and with no problems - they will over load you.
