Pros

Skilled staff in many cases, telework available at times, start with almost 4 weeks paid time off (includes sick time and vacation, though).

Cons

Eroding benefits, high-deductible health insurance, unprofessional and rigid project managers who destroy teams and don't even care about quality; organizational groups that ignore corporate policies and managers that lie to employees for personal advantage.

Pros

- Plenty of interesting work being done throughout the company. - Some very competent and hard-working technical personnel.

Cons

- Leidos' gutted its (already meager) healthcare benefits in 2013. Some of my prescriptions cost hundreds of dollars to refill a month. My pharmacists couldn't believe how much I was paying for some medications. The company's lack of communication throughout this transition was completely abhorrent. They refused to have any meetings to discuss the sweeping changes. - I watched half of our 150 person organization get laid off without receiving any severance package whatsoever. I survived the layoffs, but decided I did not want to work for a company that would treat its employees like this. Luckily I don't anymore. - Lack of any significant career advancement opportunities if you work at one of the facilities that aren't in VA or San Diego. - Leidos gave our team $35 gift cards for our 3 year anniversary with the company, which we were required to pay taxes on. Who was the person who decided against rounding up to $50? - Leidos' senior management were complicit in defrauding the city of New York $500 million in 2011. Where did they get the money to pay the city back? They withheld bonuses for front-line staff, of course.

Pros

I'm not sure there are any!!!

Cons

1. You are an expendable micro-serf from day 1! You mean nothing and are not valued at all. It's all about the bonuses for the C-suite. 2. Top VP's, Directors, Project Managers and Senior Analysts are leaving in droves. 3. They lie to you about upcoming engagements. Engagements are getting shorter and they are paying less and less per hour. 4. Leidos Health spin off from SAIC was a half-baked acquisition which allowed Leidos to be formed in order to score the MUS funding. Brand is so diluted now that no one knows who they are in Health IT. 5. Leidos Health C-suite expects all of their directors to pull in the same revenues as their military consulting division which will never happen. 6. Leidos Health directors are as slimy as it gets when it comes to making promises that will never materialize. 7. Do not work for these clowns!
