      Pros

      Benefits package if fairly decent.

      Cons

      MaxIT and VCS were great companies. When they were purchased and combined to become Leidos, that was no longer true. The company has become top heavy, management doesn't appreciate the consultants that bring in the revenue, communication is non-existent, they aren't getting enough opportunities to keep the consultants working and they have downsized a large number of great professionals. Pay is low compared to market.

      Pros

      For some layoff rounds, there really seemed to be an effort to redeploy folks to other divisions within the company.

      Cons

      There were a LOT of layoff rounds. After the split from SAIC, employees were treated more like a number rather than a person. Benefits declined and for such a large company, that was truly sad.

      Pros

      Typical beltway butts in seat company. Diverse interest. Something for every type just not enough of it. Well organized with predictable big business practices

      Cons

      As with most governments contractors loyalties are as deep as their ability to bill for your services. SAIC may have gotten the soul in the divorce. I am disappointed in how 3, 5 and 7 year employees are treated when the work is gone.
