Pros

Note: I can only speak for my own team. Leidos is a big organization with many, many teams. - I work with great people, except for a few bad eggs. - Management is generally empathetic and doesn't micromanage. - Pay is decent and time is flexible.

Cons

- Raises are generally a paltry 3% and for any more you have to fight for months on end. - Management really cares about their bottom line, and at least on my team, hires incompetent and underqualified people. - Management keeps incompetent and underqualified people to fill seats and lets the one or two rockstars do all the work and burnout. - Didn't get Juneteenth off, despite being an "inclusive and diverse company." They care when it's beneficial to them to care.

Their HR department has a few good people.

Cons

Almost every aspect of Leidos is geared around lowballing government RFPs and then rehiring incumbents at near half their salaries. They lied to me numerous times about salaries and bonuses and then made up excuses after the fact. They force you to work multiple positions meant for 3 people because they low balled a bid and then can't afford to staff properly. You spend a significant amount of time justifying your position and writing for recompetes. The PMs are all micromanagers. I have friends in Leidos who had security issues with goverment hosts who were bullying them and Leidos FSOs did not back any of them and were near useless in appeal processing.

I cannot think of any benefits of working here other than the basic benefits provided as part of their benefits package.

Cons

The environment tends to be toxic and people blame others instead of taking steps to fix the problem.
