Pros

Good health benefits Good retirement and employer match

Cons

-Resource actions ongoing since November 2014: Contractor and Regular employees - All of that money spent on those buildings just to present an "illusion" when the actual reality is that those pretty buildings are virtual ghost towns - No product roadmap with absolutely no foreseeable future or direction of EBG - Don't give the "excuse" that EBG is in the process of restructuring when the number of vacant cubes outnumber the actual amount of employees still remaining between buildings 7 & 8

Is there HYPE? Not sure there is. Lenovo acquired a struggling business group from IBM in October. We are doing our best to fix that. That requires lower cost and higher revenue. I wouldn't suggest that there isn't a future in EBG any more than someone saying the same thing about the PC Group we acquired from IBM 10 years ago. That was hard initially too. But in the long run it went well, very well...In fact, Lenovo is #1 in PC's globally now and most thought it would fail. Time will tell if we can do the same again. There are current adjustments being made to the business to fix things that were broken. Some issues we knew about, some we didn't. Saying we are in transition is not an "excuse", it is reality. We do thank you for the time you worked for Lenovo and we wish you the very best.

Pros

Positive work atmosphere, top notch colleagues. The company does a good job promoting their products from within. If you enjoy new product architecture or project management, there are opportunities.

Cons

Although Morrisville is promoted as the WWHQ, nearly all of the design work is done overseas. In the server group, most of the product qualification testing and technical staff have been eliminated. There does not appear to be much of a future there.

Thank you for your feedback and your time with Lenovo so far. Lenovo actually has dual Corporate Headquarters, RTP, and Beijing. Good suggestions.

Pros

Strong PC division. Business and management have a chance at Lenovo.

Cons

Weak Enterprise sector. Not for developers. Don't let the brand new buildings fool you. It's just an empty shell.

Hmm....not sure we agree here. While it is true the PC business is our anchor, to say it is a mirage is a bit misleading. Lenovo is undergoing a major transformation from PC only business to PC+ over the course of just a few years. We also just took on 2 major acquisitions at the same time (IBM X86 Server and Motorola Mobility) These organizations were not performing particularly well when we were buying them. This business takes time and investment to bear fruit. We ask that you have patience. Few thought Lenovo could turn around the IBM PC business we acquired 10 years ago....now Lenovo is #1 in PC's globally. Thanks for your feedback and thanks for your time at Lenovo...although we disagree, we would like your support to reach our goals together.
