Pros

People there are very chill and are willing to give you the time of day even as an intern. People work hard but work/life balance seemed to be pretty good.

Cons

The IT and technology tends to fall behind, but that is to be expected in a retail/fashion company.

Pros

My co-workers are generally very nice people and I have made several friends there. They sell nice clothes and employees get a decent discount if they feel inclined to spend their measly paychecks on Levi's products.

Cons

All but two of the managers are extremely rude, unhelpful, condescending, and simply terrible at their jobs. I've never experienced worse management at any of my former retail jobs, and I'm shocked by their incompetence. I have had so many terrible experiences with the managers that I I am going to contact the Human Resource department because I have several very valid complaints, and complaining to any of the managers (including the store manager) has proved to be a waste of my time. The managers also have the bad habit of altering employee's schedules with very little notice, and they never apologize for their mistakes. There have been several times where I have come in to work when I was scheduled only to find out that I'm suddenly not scheduled for that day! Instead of apologizing, which is the least they could do, they have told me to go home. I've wasted a lot of time and money for public transportation because of this. Also, the pay is terrible, and I can't comprehend why people are not paid by commission, yet they are supposed to work extremely hard to sell more and more products. Where is the incentive to do so if they are treated horribly and are not going to be paid more if they perform incredibly well? As a cashier I don't have to worry about this, but I think it's an unethical business practice. I've lost respect for the company because of the way employees are treated.
