Pros

Levi's is a good place to begin stepping into the retail world. You can learn a lot as a sales associate about how everything works. One of the very few places I believe really gives people a chance at it without prior experience.

Cons

Most definitely there is scandal within management. Employees create a clique that includes management and if you are not welcome, you have no way of excelling within company. Favoritism is a huge issue that should be addressed. Well established employees are not praised or respected enough and it resulted in a high turnover rate. People were practically encouraged to leave in order to bump up favorites. If someone feels that they are ready to take on more responsibility, it is in your best interest to go seek new employment.

Pros

Good culture, interesting product that more or less sells itself.

Cons

I worked for LS&CO for 7 years in which time I had 13 different managers. We changed strategy at least once per year and shuffled the organizational structure each time to align to the new strategy. People were promoted or fired with seemingly no particular thought behind the moves. The product line is extremely mature and the company seems to have exhausted all possible lines to revenue growth.

Pros

Brand heritage is the most valuable asset the company has. Company values were lived and applied in any company plans and decisions.

Cons

Leadership changed and new ideas and WOW were implemented, some of them not always aligned with company culture/values, they were more revenue oriented. Diversity is just spoken, but not practiced at all.
