Pros

- The brand is well-known and respected, particularly within professional services - Management let you work autonomously, value ideas and feedback and work with you - The wider marketing team are excellent, hard-working and collaborative (have learnt loads from all of them) - The company has made huge tech investments to its products, which makes marketing a lot more exciting - Almost five years in and still developing my skills massively - Supportive team and positive culture, and flexible working is the rule rather than the exception

Cons

- The office is a little outdated?

LexisNexis Legal & Professional Response

“Best job I’ve ever had” is fantastic to read, especially from someone who’s spent several years with us! Your perspective really brings to life the combination of strong brand, supportive leadership, and collaborative teams that many people value here at LexisNexis. It’s great to hear how autonomy and idea-sharing have shaped your experience. What you’ve described reflects how many of our marketing teams operate today, where colleagues are trusted to take ownership, bring forward ideas, and shape how we connect our solutions to customers. That’s especially important as we continue evolving our products with AI and advanced technology, where marketing plays a key role in translating complex capabilities into real-world value. It also creates new ways for teams like yours to develop skills and stay close to meaningful, fast-moving work. The flexibility you mention is an important part of that, helping people balance delivery with sustainability over time. Glad you’re part of the team and continuing to grow your impact! Thanks for everything you’re bringing and for taking the time to share this.

Pros

Not much to say here.

Cons

Recruitment cold calls you after submitting a CV, then you go through different screenings, time spent talking to them and different phone interviews. They say nice things about how you’re a strong candidate and they’re interested and then they just ghost! They never call back or respond to follow ups. I get it if I’d just sent a CV and they didn’t answer. But putting someone through lengthy phone screenings and questions, and then not even bothering to respond just isn’t respectful of someone’s time and efforts.
