It’s wonderful to read that your experience at LexisNexis included strong work–life balance and good management. From a Senior Data Scientist’s perspective, that combination matters a lot, especially in work that requires focus, collaboration, and room to solve complex problems well. You also touched on compensation, which is an area we approach with structure and care. Pay decisions are guided by external market data, internal role alignment, performance, and the scope of each role. We also look at total rewards more broadly, including incentive opportunities and long-term financial wellbeing resources where they apply, so colleagues are supported beyond base salary alone. The work of our Data Science teams helps power trusted information, analytics, and AI-driven workflows used by customers in high-stakes settings. We’re glad the culture and management support made a positive impression during your time here. Thank you for your contributions to LexisNexis, and all the best in your next chapter!

It’s good to hear that you see strength in the products and in how LexisNexis is adopting AI. From your perspective as an Account Manager, that matters because you are close to the customers who rely on our solutions every day. You’ve also raised a point that can shape the sales experience over time: how targets, manager support, and trust come together. In our strongest teams, clear goals are paired with useful coaching, open conversations, and the autonomy to manage customer relationships well. We want account teams to feel focused and supported, not just measured, because that is what helps people do strong work and build lasting customer partnerships. There is a lot of momentum across LexisNexis as we continue bringing AI-powered information, analytics, and workflows to customers across law, business, and government. Your role is part of that progress, and we’re grateful for the work you’re doing with customers in Toronto. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

Pros

If I have any issues or concerns there are always individuals there to assist, it doesn’t have the sales culture which is toxic or competitive which is great.

Cons

London office can be very dead sometimes and a lack of culture, sometimes you can be the only person in a whole floor. Not many work nights out but I think this is yet to change

It’s good to read that you’ve found people willing to help when questions or concerns come up, and that your experience in Sales has felt supportive rather than cutthroat. For someone in an SDR role, that kind of environment can be a real foundation for learning the business and building momentum. Office energy is also an important part of the overall experience, particularly for colleagues who value regular in-person connection. With many teams using hybrid working patterns, some days in the London office can naturally feel quieter than others. Alongside that flexibility, there are meaningful ways colleagues connect beyond day-to-day work, including employee-led resource group activities, wellness events, team gatherings, and other office-based moments that help bring people together. In Sales especially, those connections matter because peer support, coaching, and learning from others help people build confidence and grow in the role. Thank you for being part of the team and for taking the time to share both what’s working well and where the experience could feel more vibrant.
