      Good pay. Most people are nice. Blue Sky. Is in this solar system. On earth.

      Leadership is poor. Pretend to value you and then throw you under the bus if it benefits them.

      Career Advice: DO NOT WORK FOR ALABAMA REGION!

      -Pay and benefits are average for the mining/ mineral processing industry. -Corporate Mining & Exploration Dept. appears to be trying to push culture in a positive direction. -Union hourly workforce is ok to work with. Most will try to do a good job. -The parent company Lhoist appears interested in providing training for employees. -There appears to be real career opportunities within Lhoist outside of the Alabama Region

      -The Alabama Regional Management is the most un-professional & incompetent group of individuals I have ever worked with. -Your career success here will be 100% based on politics and 0% based on results, performance, or merit. -Expect to experience the following from your immediate supervisors as a condition of your continued employment: intimidation & bullying, threats of termination, professional isolation, professional sabotage, personal denigration in front of co-workers, stealing credit for your work, & assignment of unrealistic workloads. -The Alabama Regional Management has zero moral or ethical values other than self preservation. -I can not stress enough what a TOXIC environment this is. Do your career a favor and find another place to work. Its not worth wasting your time or effort.
