Pros

- the other members of the front desk team are kind, supportive, and always willing to help - clinicians are super nice and easy to talk to - no weekends

Cons

- policies and procedures change so often that not even the managers know what’s right or wrong (like, policies change literally weekly) - my specific managers can come across as condescending when putting new procedures into place, saying things like “you WILL do xyz. You WILL NOT do xyz.” It just rubs me the wrong way. - billing is so so so behind/unresponsive to clients, and unfortunately, clients take their frustration out on front desk coordinators - front desk coordinators are treated like a call center. No matter which office you work in, you take whatever call is coming in next from your whole state. It can be frustrating to schedule appointments for doctors/therapists you don’t know, whose offices are 5 hours away, because that office might have different procedures.

Pros

Pay was good and the benefits were...decent. Flexible time off. Got to work from home.

Cons

Where do I begin? This company likes to work people to the bone until they quit Hiring freezes that causes the national to push more work on other over worked departments and gives empty promises that they are looking for help. National will only step in if they get bothered enough. Billing department had some of the rudest people working in it (at least in my branch) clearly national doesn't care who stays on, so long they keep their head down and not make a sound. Med providers and therapists severely over scheduled. Finding out who to talk to about issues is impossible. National is so far detached from smaller branches...they claim they have heart to help people, which yes, they do, but what about the people in the company?
