Pros

This review is specific to evaluation services. Fantastic coworkers on the clinical and support staff. Easy communication within our department. Access to coworkers for consultation. The direct leadership is responsive, supportive, and helpful. A lot of flexibility in my schedule that helps on both the personal and professional levels. I continue to work here because I like my colleagues and I don't want to hurt my patients and coworkers by leaving. However, my patience is wearing thin.

Cons

This company has a lot of potential that is being squandered by uncontrolled growth that is focused on expansion and profits, over employee satisfaction/wellbeing and patient care. There is little transparency at the top. We have seen a lot of turnover recently because of these issues. The medical record system is terrible and we need a new system altogether instead of bandaids that don't work. We have frequent IT issues that interfere with our report writing because of system issues. All eval staff should receive laptops to prevent these issues, as it directly impacts patient care and our bottom line. This is a fee-for-service model, and we are never involved in talks about compensation so there is a wide range of reimbursement, but we are not told what is being done to help advocate for our income. Some of it is so low it's frankly insulting. The company keeps a large percentage of what we earn so it's frustrating to think that they really aren't providing a solid return on our investment. We are asked to attend meetings and complete company-required paperwork for which we are not compensated. Clinicians are forced to work insane hours plus weekends to makeup for holidays, no shows, and any other problems that impact our ability to see patients so there is frequent burn out. Benefits are terrible, and really non-existent outside of those required by law (e.g., healthcare). We do not get paid vacation. There really isn't any CEs for the evaluation staff. Policies are changed frequently and poorly communicated, resulting in confusion. Company stock incentive is laughable given its initial performance in the market, and lack of faith in the company as it currently stands. People have started to leave, and if these problems are not fixed, they will only get worse.

Pros

The work environment is nice for my department. Everyone is friendly.

Cons

Moving corporate is ruining mental health. State insurances need to be accepted. The schedules for providers are way too packed in order for them to care about each and every individual.
