Unbelievably bad

Pros

Team members are supportive as they all understand how messed up things are and how impossible it is to keep up

Cons

The most inefficient systems you can possibly imagine. All day long just shaking my head in disbelief. The poor patients cannot get a response from “central billing” who I imagine are horribly understaffed- the regular billers take the blame although we are instructed to just forward the calls. Hard to keep motivated and have felt a drain on my personal integrity working here. Leaving is a huge relief.

Pros

Working from home is a plus

Cons

You will be blinded by fake promotions, promises of pay raises, and unprovoked threats of termination. Once they get you where they want you, don’t ask questions and keep your head down. You are discarded like garbage. Thrown away and so undervalued, afraid to ask questions for fear of retaliation, and so over worked that you just start shutting down. Toxic positivity is the only thing being promoted here. The word “support” gets thrown around minute by minute with nothing to actually back it up. No raises, no reviews, no promotions, and an upper management team full of nepotism. It is becoming really hard to clock in everyday.

Pros

I appreciate my kind, giving, intelligent, and competent colleagues.

Cons

I'm not sure that they understand the culture of mental health practices, nor the ethics and motivations of mental health providers. Profit over people may work in banking but it doesn't work in mental health. Most of the leaders are not mental health providers and it shows.
