Great Mission and Going Places

Pros

Company is mission-focused, encourages independence as well as evidence-based practice. Great support staff that help with everything from prior auths to managing patient concerns. Despite fee-for-service setup, there is plenty of opportunity to make a good living with a moderate caseload.

Cons

Fee-for-service structure is hard to start with, especially coming from a salaried job. No PTO for now, In NY the pay is about what you would expect from a cut of reimbursements, but like most jobs in NY, your rent will still be a huge percentage of salary.

Pros

Pay (if they give you clients), 401k match, option for fully remote work.

Cons

They treat you like workhorses. You aren't given clients, are told to work more if you want to get paid more, with hardly any compensation when client's no-show or cancel. You don't get praised for positive terminations with clients, you are just scolded if your schedule isn't full (when they're not giving you clients). They also don't give many opportunities for pay increases, not even to attempt to aid with inflation.
