Pros

*The work feels meaningful — it’s clear that what we’re building has a real impact on people’s lives and mental health. *My coworkers are fantastic — smart, hardworking, and genuinely fun to be around. We know how to get things done while still cracking jokes and supporting each other. *Flex PTO and fully remote means I can actually take time off and live wherever I want. *The company is a great size — big enough that there’s coverage when someone’s out, but small enough that I don’t feel lost in the crowd. *Good culture and solid collaboration across teams. *I feel trusted to do my work without micromanagement.

Cons

*A large portion of the engineering team is made up of contractors, which can affect continuity and team cohesion. *We need more engineering managers to help support the growing workload and provide better support to devs.

Pros

There is plenty of good things to say. Firstly, it is fairly easy to get intakes, the pay is decent, and (for the most part) the clients are motivated and willing to actively participate in the therapeutic process.

Cons

I want to first say that I do take accountability and understand why things transpired as they did. Throughout my time at LifeStance, I was very ill at certain points. They were kind at first, but frustration certainly kicked in. I likely should have been more open about my medical struggles, but it just seemed that I was usually met with a certain level of annoyance. I know I could have done better in several ways, but being met with a little more kindness would have gone a long way.

Pros

-I get to make my own schedule (have more control over work/life balance) -Quotas for benefits are based on your availability, not number of clients who show (good if you sometimes have issues with no shows) -They provide membership to PsyHub and provide inhouse trainings for CEs -Inhouse consultations, multiple services (Psychiatry, skill training, case management, psychological testing, and therapy], so it's easier to refer clients for services. -maintain and help with your credentialing with several insurance boards -Allow you to work remote, in person, or hybrid (no pressure, your choice]

Cons

-Fee for service, Pay presents lower than expected and compared to other agencies in the area. -no pay or credit for trainings, documentation, or anything you are required/mandatory to do that is not directly with the patient. -hired me with one agreement/contract, then switched expectations for benefits requirement one year later, policies are still be established so it feels like constant change of expectations -no PTO and you have to spread out your vacations/sick time or you'll drop below the limit of availability and could lose ALL benefits (medical, dental, retirement, etc.) OR you have to work extra hours to make it up the availability loss.
