Pros

If you are an amazing photographer you will get recognized. However it is not about taking your time. The job teaches you to grind out thousands of photos with good posing and to pay attention to detail. This helps later if you are shooting in a high paced environment, like weddings. Lead Photographers / Photo managers get paid alright if you are in the right territory. I have met some amazing photographers/friends there l.

Cons

- Low pay - little room for growth - jobs are seasonal unless you are lucky to get hired on I left 6+ years ago and I have an employee who is amazing and still making the same pay as when I left. The only time that person got a raise was when I was at the helm. I went for 3 years without a raise until I called it quits when I caught my boss lying to me. I would never let any of my friends or family work there. I feel sorry for some of the people who still do.

Pros

Friendly co-workers Glassdoor requires 5 word minimum for "pros" I can't even come up with 5 positive words for the company. Don't work here.

Cons

Poor mileage reimbursement system Very low wages Inconsistent work schedule - will work you to death for 2-3 months then no work for 1-3 months No opportunities to move up Health benefits are very hard to get and keep unless it's a salary position Work schedule makes it difficult to hold a second job
