Pros

Work from home. Almost as if you are an independent contractor running your own small business. Sales materials are very professional.

Cons

Very little support, and standards for sales team is vastly different from corp. No sick days, and commission plans seam to change on the drop of a dime when you are due a pay increase.

Pros

Fun product offering, provides memories for families. Company promotes large retirement offering to all employees. Creative industry.

Cons

The product of school pictures has less value to consumers. The tradition is fading, causing sales to slump. A company can't save itself to success by cutting services. The company must completely reinvent itself in order to appeal to Gen Y - and they must do this in an ever changing world with dramatic culture shifts.

Pros

Friendly Company, Great Opportunity to get into Photography, Creative Freedom. Company loves photography and keeps guests (clients) needs high on list, fun environment, best competitve pricing around, keeping current with trends.

Cons

Too strict Labor Model to follow that leaves studio short staffed, Manager is not only manager but photographer, secretary, salesperson, cleaning crew, technician etc. Too much staff turnaround, too little pay for staff under manager, no hours for staff other than manager, some pricing on products too low to meet budget needs, not enough Field Manager support, or corporate support.
