Pros

perfect environment to learn about portrait photography and get some confidence as a photographer Never boring with so many seasons and occasions for families to get photos working with kids!!!! You´ll have some required shots but after that you are free to be creative

Cons

$ is really bad I personally didn´t like being forced to spend more time selling other photographers pictures instead of taking them myself. schedules can be hectic and hard to reconcile with your family´s schedule. (I would say is a job for young people with no kids)

Pros

Everyone is engaged in profitable growth Stable employment. Most employees are at least 5 years and up. Many are 15, 20, 25 years of service. Great work-life balance. Family comes first.

Cons

Upward growth/mobility is limited due to long term employees. Long term employees become entrenched so to speak, and short of that person retiring/otherwise the opportunity to move up in the organization is limited. Industry is in decline. School, and portrait photography industry is in decline. Less customers are considering professional portraiture. There is a lack of innovation, and in an industry in decline innovation is paramount.

Pros

Can't think of any pros to work for this company.

Cons

High stress and frustration. Inconsistent hours, low pay, and travel which requires the use of your own vehicle without compensation. Equipment was constantly failing during the shoots. Lack of professionalism at work site with profanity being used daily. Photography manager wanted to be friends with only certain employees and showed favoritism in the workplace as well as with scheduling more favorable hours to her "friends".
