Pros

I honestly don't know of any besides I do get a paycheck, what little it may be, every other week during those times when we aren't on reduced hours or furlough so we don't even receive our holiday pay

Cons

No raise since I was hired! They pile on more and more work yet don't compensate you for it. They actually reduce your hours even more, lay you off or put you on furlough so you can't even receive your holiday pay that you are supposed to receive.

Pros

Follows school schedule (summers and spring/winter breaks), great for parents Free school photo package Great Coworkers Company Share This is a fun industry to work in and nearly every employee I've worked with has been friendly. Starting pay can be ok, but raises do not come frequently or ever. They provide paid training for photographers. Company share is given instead of 401K which can really add up fast for long-term employees!

Cons

Follows school schedule (summers and spring/winter breaks), laid off during this time Few raises Low pay rate Managment seems to fluctuate a lot Since every territory office is handled individually, the work environment, office budget, quality of management, etc can vary drastically. Typically this company does not have a large budget for its territory offices. If you plan on being a photographer, the work is HARD. You have to be on location at schools very early and carry all your own equipment (company supplied). The equipment is heavy and will fill an entire car easily. You will put thousands of extra miles on your car.
