Pros

Positive work environment, definitely a feel good job, paid training, okay for a short term position

Cons

Very inconsistent scheduling and no communication from management about when hours will be lowered due to lack of enrollment. When I was interviewed a couple of months ago, I was told I'd be part time for spring, but that I'd still get 20 hours a week. Some weeks it has been under 10 hours with zero heads up. That's pretty darn inconsiderate! I really like buying groceries!

Pros

Lots of support from upper management, development when requested, lots of awesome kids around all day!

Cons

Some centers are weaker than others and if your local management isn't strong the whole culture suffers..

A good job for students

Pros

It is really fun to work with the kiddos, if you're good at handling behavior issues. If you don't genuinely enjoy working with kids, you won't enjoy this job.

Cons

You will be treated like dirt, and do a lot of work for very little pay. Most of the people working here are college age students, who don't mind being treated in a disrespectful manner by management, but it was hard for me to swallow with my qualifications and the amount of effort I put in to make the company look good to clients. I will be leaving to work full time as a special ed teacher, which is hard work but for much better pay.
