      Pros

      It is great to work with such a wide variety of students. It's a great place to get one-on-one teaching experience, especially with kids with learning disabilities. It's very rewarding to see the kids making progress. Mostly everyone who works there is super friendly and positive. Most of the kids seem to have fun everyday. The schedule can change a lot but they are very considerate about asking you before changing your schedule, which is appreciated.

      Cons

      The training was very long and tedious, but I get it since you need to use such specific methods with this program. The higher-ups are not very involved with instruction and not consistently supportive of employees. It can be a tough job, the days can be long and tiring. You need to have high energy to keep these kids going. Sometimes I felt very supported but other times I felt like I was left in the dust. The culture is super positive but can feel phony and uncomfortable at times. The pay is so low considering the effort you must put forth to be successful at this job.

      Get to see lots of great progress for students. Coworkers are very nice.

      Cons

      Incredibly low pay considering what parents pay. Inconsistent schedule. Rude corporate management. Honestly, don't work here if you can avoid it.
