Pros

The company exists to help those with trouble learning overcome those issues and those who just want to get better improve using researched and verified programs for decomposition and comprehension. Very professional and pleasant work environment.

Cons

Not a whole lot to complain about. I left the company because I am in the information technology field and just wanted to take a different path than the one they decided to take. That being said I think they made the right move for the company.

Pros

- Opportunity to work with diverse populations of people and on interesting projects. - Big company with good health benefits. - Great coworkers. - Learning environment.

Cons

- High school politics, if you don't know the in-crowd you can't play the game. - No formal management training. - Shady compensation policy, esp in the Fall/Winter months. - Overt favoritism of Learning Center department employees (income stream). - Too much expected from employees for too little reward

Good work experience

Pros

Working with the kids is fun. The program really works.

Cons

The pay is low. As an experienced and credentialed teacher, I still only made $15/hour and it was cut to $13.50/hour when the economy was doing poorly. Parents pay $2,000 a week to send their kids there so as a teacher you only get a tiny amount of what is being paid.
