Linde Porto Portugal:
Low Salary.
Huge, very huge turn over
No new colleagues as HR doesn't do their job.
Due to high turn over and no new colleagues workload is abnormal high.
No help at all from HR (they think providing a few links to find housing a very good help).
Management doesn't listen to people on work floor.
By changing of directors people who got a new position but didn't start yet do not know if they will get this particular job or not. As the new director has another view then the previous one...
The work environment not healthy. There has been research and the overall conclusion is that it is not healthy to work "longer" in this environment. We are not informed about how long is "longer".
Employees mentioning the environment a year now. Solution should be there at least September 2020.
Due to the unhealthy environment people go home with headaches, allergies etc. Others are so tired they have to go to bed as early as 19.00-19.30.
Rental prices in Porto (and other cities in Portugal) are sky high. Deposit 3-4 times monthly rent. Which is impossible to pay with a low salary.
Yearly bonus only paid out when you stay with the company until at least May the next year. As in that month the bonus of the previous year will be paid.
Only thing important is profit, employees are not.
Being told there is no possibility to negotiate salary, only to find out new colleagues could.
Huge difference between salaries. Some with many years of experience earn less than much younger colleagues who (surprise as most of us where told negotiating was not possible) just started.
They say there is a career plan. Yeah right. They can not find people to replace the colleagues who were promoted.
There are only very short term solutions. There is no long term view.
