Pros

The work, experiences, responsibilities, benefits are very good compared to most other companies. They are on par with other chemical companies.

Cons

The company has recently (2014-2016) decimated the Region Americas Operations middle and senior management to include some who were agents of change towards the company's vision of zero incidents. Morale does not exist any more. Additionally, the Region has no training program to speak of for any operations employee, hourly to middle management salaried.

Pros

Positive employer with a strong brand recognition and leading presence in its industry. Above market level compensation and benefits in many areas of its business, especially amongst blue collar workers. Very caring, sometimes family like feeling, attitude to it's employees. Family friendly HR policies very good.

Cons

Historic UK presence with a lot of long serving employees that are sometimes too resistant to change. Very strong bureaucratic culture and hierarchal structure means decisions are slow and new ideas get squashed. Too reliant on reacting to the UK market rather than being pro-active and anticipating market changes.

Pros

Some of the employees are great - management and HR - terrible

Cons

They have the worst trainers, outdated software, a HR department where the women there are self absorbed and genuinely could not care less about employees, or any of their concerns. Exit interview was a joke, did not want to hear what I had to say, even went as far to say that I did not know what I was talking about and then she proceeded to let me know how great they were. People have been leaving the Company and they say, they have no idea why.......because HR refuses to listen or report what is said at exit interviews
