Pros

Great group of people, very collaborative, lots of idea sharing and inclusion

Cons

Like many owner-managed firms, employees in the filed often receive fire drill requests for corporate reporting. Nothing we can't handle however, it can hamper property tours and our other duties.

Fast Paced & Quick Growth

Pros

Within the year I’ve been here, Link has grown their portfolio tremendously across the nation. Link uses multiple program platforms to complete tasks and access information, so it makes sense we use a 2 monitor computer system with a laptop docking station. The people who have been with the company since inception, which wasn’t long ago, have been great resources. Their Property Management department is one of the more evolving departments, as of recently Link utilized third party companies to manage the portfolio but have begun the process of moving on from them to internalizing the management of their portfolio. This translates to a huge growth for the Property Management department. Link has also streamlined their on boarding process and have made large improvements on their procedures and programs, as well as training their staff. The future of Link looks good at this point, and my hope is that with this new growth, Link doesn’t lose sight of the importance of ensuring their staff is confident, comfortable, and satisfied to continue to help shape Link to be a great company to work for.

Cons

With fast growth comes ‘growing pains’, which shows in the ever changing standards, use of programs and evolving tasks. Their have been unrealistic deadlines due to the lack of staff Link started with, that current employees are having to play catch up or complete tasks for items that should have been done before but were not due to the lack of staff. Accounting doesn’t seem to be great as there are so many mistakes in tenant ledgers, CAM, and budgets. I’m a huge organization buff, and the electronic filing system could use some help. That’s an area that some may not find as a big deal, but it’s a world of help when documents are placed in a way that makes sense so that anyone can easily find what they need. Also the lack of documentation is a bit annoying. Link should streamline the filing so that common documents are filed away in the shared system without having to reach out to others to constantly request for those items.

Pros

Link is constantly evolving to be bigger and better, which has created opportunities for myself and many of my talented colleagues. Leadership is smart and motivated, but accessible and place focus on culture and teamwork at all levels.

Cons

Link has grown fast, so we work hard and there can be occasional growing pains, but its fun to be part of building the foundation and celebrating successes together.
