All the good stuff you're hearing is true. It's all true. There's no one behind the curtain, the magic is true, the closest leads to narnia. Amazing workplace, culture, everyone is smart, kind, willing to help you succeed, and just awesome. Obviously you work for a big tech company which means the benefits are wild.

Cons

I got laid off, which is the other side of working for a big tech company. You also can feel like a small fish in a big pond. It all depends on your team because if you have a good team then you're set, but if your manager is a micro-manager, then you're screwed. My advice: always, always, candidly interview the people you work with, your future manager, anyone and everyone you can. Leaving linkedin I was shocked: LinkedIn is special, and I will be trying to get back when I can get a bigger salary.
