Pros

Pay is good. WLB is good compared to other companies. You can excel if you work hard, coz the bar is not that high for being a high performer. Food is great.

Cons

Many teams have boring work and not a great vision. Leadership at many orgs is a bit clueless and keeps pivoting from one thing to another. There can be fight for scope because many teams mostly over-hire and then people are fighting for interesting/impactful projects.

Pros

Great benefits, especially family & parenting benefits. Discretionary DTO. Free breakfast and lunch at all US offices. Important mission, purposeful work

Cons

Salary + compensation is on the low end compared to other peer companies at the same title and level. The culture isn't the same as it was under the previous CEO. Less compassionate leadership, more focused on satisfying Microsoft and hitting numbers which contributes to regular sweeping biannual layoffs

Pros

- Good perks and pay relative to competitors - Unlimited PTO is actually unlimited for my team - on top of a ton of company holidays - team is nice

Cons

- promotions viability can differ by teams. some difficulty promoing even if you are technically qualified, and qualifications are becoming more strict / timelines increasing - a lot of layoffs happening
