      Pros

      Offers a large platform with a bunch of unique technical challenges that result in a really tantalizing chance to learn and grow. Fellow employees are highly capable and happy to collaborate.

      Cons

      Some homegrown solutions do pose a difficult initial learning curve.

      Pros

      Small company feel. Flat organization. Great compensation and benefits Employees and customers matter more than company profits. Amazing culture and people. The office space is super nice and in a great area of Philadelphia.

      Pros

      Great work-life-balance. Nice coworkers. Good training. Care about employees and customers.

      Cons

      Not much incentive to work here longer than a couple years. The bootstrapping of Linode, although something I can respect the founder for, doesn't benefit employees at all. It just benefits the near-billionaire sole owner. Better to work somewhere in tech that gives you shares of publicly traded stock so you can retire 10-20 years sooner. Unless you enjoy being a pawn for 5+ years.
