      Pros

      Linode still maintains a small-company attitude, and puts a lot of energy in making its people feel valued. The culture is authentic, the work is challenging, and the people are the best I've worked with. Because of that, if you truly excel at your work, chances are you'll be recognized and pulled into additional responsibilities. Benefits are also phenomenal.

      Cons

      Linode is still maturing, and with that comes some growing pains. We don't always get everything right -- but ultimately I do think the company is up to the task.

      Pros

      Great perks and great people. We've experienced a lot of growing pains in the last few years, and I think we've made some mistakes in hiring management, but overall it does feel like everyone is genuinely trying to make the organization a better place to work.

      Cons

      Growing pains with regards to managers understanding in the tech and interest in the engineer, as well as guidance for continued growth. However I think this is starting to improve with internal promotions of sr engineers into managers.
