Terrible pay, have to work long hours to make a decent paycheque, you are expected to be "perfect" and people can treat you horrible...taking bad treatment for that pay? Ridiculous

Global community, Hard- working teammates passionate with customer delivery. Long tenured colleagues, close community. Awesome branding materials

Cons

Tired leadership with inconsistent communication. Lots of last minute change ups and chaos. Authoritative style of leadership with major risk aversion, ergo no innovation or thought leadership. Real fear to voice concerns, raise new opportunities. Reward and recognition not a norm and middle management fawns on directives of top leadership at expense of direct reports.

Pros

The environment is fully Western style, very relaxed, and great to work in. Personal space is respected, and it’s amazing to work with so many people from different cultures. The building and location are excellent, with easy access from two different train stations.

Cons

Short-term contracts are terrible for anyone with a family or for those planning to settle in Japan permanently. Very few promotion opportunities. The salary is quite low by Japanese standards, but unfortunately in line with the industry.
