Pros

Accrued paid time off after starting at as T2 or above. 2 any use days off every year. Plenty of opportunities to learn software and other skills provided your work area isn't being put through the motions most of the time.

Cons

Lionbridge employees are akin to second class citizens at Hewlett-Packard San Diego. Everyday the "we're on the same team" line is repeated but whats heard is the crushing bottom line. Employees have to fight like hell to get a raise and even after that you more than likely can't tell anyone. Job responsibilities increase noticeably and management will be that it was apart of the original job parameters in order to justify why a raise or promotion is not in the works. If I had known what the job would become and that there would be little to no increase in pay I wouldn't have taken the job.

Pros

People on the floor are great and willing to teach, a lot of experience in various jobs

Cons

management could care less about the employees all they are focused on is the head count on the floor, does not care if experience walks out the door as long as the head counts adds up to what they require for payment from the client. no advancement opportunities
