There was often no work, you are treated like a number or a cog in a machine, no chance to move up or progress, unclear expectations and no feedback at all.

I Worked for 4 years and here is the exp 1. Appraisal is pathetic. Never happens on time (Ratings are given on time but hikes are always delayed). Even when you get the highest rating the hike may be lesser than the one who has got lesser rating than you. Its all about being in the good books of Top Mgt.Yes its the top mgt (who may not know who you are) who decides the hike and not your PM 2. Management always does false promises. They will commit something but will never fullfil it. 3. Lack of projects. Infact only 5-6 development projects are there on .NET and the biggest team will be of 6-7 ppl 4. Management works like hitler. Earlier the middle mgt was good but all the good ppl have left and the rotten ones (who might not be getting their job else where) have joined it. 5. Your good work will be PM's good work and your bad one will obviously be yours.
