Pros

Good co-workers and decent overall product: world-leader, reasonable salaries and benefits

Cons

The comp plan for salespeople has become demoralizing and punitive. The most successful salespeople have fled to the competition. A combination of unachievable quotas coupled with punitive benchmarks have made it all but impossible to earn a decent living here. This is a recent development, perhaps designed to flush out low-performers., However, now the high-performers, attracted by lower quota's and better overall compensation at other companies, have see the light. Its a shame. A good company being driven under by beancounters in ivory towers...

Pros

Go to learn much. Lots to do. Clear impact on bottom line. Easy access to executives. Smart people worldwide.

Cons

Low salaries. Not much incentives and poor benefits. Top heavy. Lack of real review process leading to promotions and/or salary adjustments/bonus. No learning from failure culture. Message from the top "Keep doing a good job and don't complain otherwise you get out". Company growing through mergers. No career development path.

Pros

About the most basic mind numbing work so enough caffeine and you can get through the night, and the ability to blend in if you are a pop culture tshirt wearing millennial. lots of cozy places to sleep. Enclosed within the walls of a thriving company, it does give the illusion of success.

Cons

management, like most managements in most workplaces, have no business working with humans. but the oxygen sucking lifeforms know how to breathe back out a lot of hot air which are disguised as sleep inducing meetings. be prepared to cheer loudly so you can go back to doing other soul tormenting work that comes with a flattering sounding career package.
