Pros

Some entertainment industry perks are available like winter break, screenings during work hours, and relaxed working schedule (depending on your dept)

Cons

Salary & benefits are on the lower side of the industry (which is already low for finance related positions). Fragmented communication between depts and the heads continuously fail to address it.

Pros

Position interacts with multiple departments, offering editor a broader scope of the production and marketing processes. Able to work independently as well as with film publicists to secure best possible materials for the studio.

Cons

Hours can be long, but such is a career in entertainment. Not unusual.
