Pros

They almost always promote from within, so there's continuous opportunity for vertical movement. Working in the film business can be fun; you can go to free movie screenings. Also, you learn a lot. The relatively smaller staff gives you the change to take on new responsibilities, so it's a great place to learn.

Cons

Since there is a smaller staff, the opportunity to learn a lot is tempered by the volume of work assigned to one person. More responsibility means more volume and higher expectations

Pros

Winter break, free health, dental, vision, nice size company, company mixers

Cons

Analysts who work long hours for show, no work life balance, too many VPs who do not know how to manage, managers who do not get to manage, lower pay, HR that thinks everyone's replaceable

Pros

The success of a studio with the feel of a smaller company. Good benefits, special events for employees, accessibility to upper management. Employees don't get lost in the shuffle.

Cons

Lower than average pay compared to other studios.
