Pros

-A very relaxed, friendly company that is trying to gear it's company culture towards the youth. -Paid Healthplan, you pay virtually nothing except copay for medical insurance -Lots of paid vacation days and half days throughout the year -Company facilitates career change within the company -HR department is amazing. Very responsive and works hard with the little resources they have.

Cons

-Salary levels are about 10K-20K under market value -High turnover rate of entry level due to low pay and stubborn senior management -Lack of management or process innovation -Bad communication and technology integration -There use to be more perks, but as the company grows so do the events and perks.

Pros

Lionsgate is a good place to start and learn the business. You get hands on experience with many facets of the business. Depending on department, you can modify your work hours and you can work from home if you're trusted by your supervisor. You can make good connections for your career. It looks good on your resume.

Cons

Upper management has no respect for people under them. Pay is really lousy and by now about 50% below what everybody pays. Promotions and advancement is based on who you know and not how you work. The whole management of the company is complete chaos to hide people with VP titles that produce absolutely nothing. Nepotism is live and well here. Positions that become vacant are not replaced and instead the work load is distributed among people in the same department or to other departments. HR is completely inefficient and enlarges only their own department. People usually move on to other studios after 2 years.

Pros

Nice to work at a big company with decent benefits (401K and good medical).

Cons

Lionsgate pays under market and lacks the appeal of a major studio. The rumor is their acquisition of eOne is because they are trying to sell in the next 5 or so years. Most company employees seem unaware.
