Pros

Great company to learn about the entertainment industry since it’s not as big or hierarchical than the other studios. Many execs love that’s there’s less red tape involved in executing a new idea. When we were in the office lots of professional development opportunities. Christmas party was awesome!

Cons

Entertainment has a very old culture and while Lionsgate sells themselves to be an innovative startup culture don’t be fooled. New ideas I had to automate processes were not taken well. Additionally my team wasn’t really invested in moving me past an assistant role and my manager made a point of saying that to me when I left.
