Management team listens and will allow you to lead, assuming you've pulled together a solid business case to go forward with. Profitable - result driven Good benefits with flex time and training opportunities New acquisitions offer future opportunities Only one layoff in the time I've been here - impressive for the auto side of the business!

Cons

Flat organization so opportunities are limited Engineering is running too lean

Pros

Strong benefit program and they are always looking to improve. Management does want to offer the employees continuous improvement type opportunities (learning new skills, etc.).

Cons

Just because you work hard and may attend/take the continuous improvement type courses does not mean you will be considered for advancement.

Internship program gave young employees very real world experience. Good quality of work.

Cons

Littelfuse recently closed the manufacturing in Des Plaines and let a lot of people go. There are now a lot less jobs available in the area.
