Pros

Not many at all. Hell most people dont get paid it seems or if they do it's a very low wage.

Cons

Too many to list. This company doesn't care about anyone but Mike's party life and how to make him money. They also don't care about the customers. I even heard a higher up say our customers are stupid they will do anything we want them to do. I also know they break so many laws and HR morals.

I’m very concerned to see some of the comments you’ve shared. As an employee of 8 years, we value your feedback and would like to understand more about the issues you’ve raised so we can properly address them. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to taking care of our employees and guests who attend our concerts, and take seriously any claims that laws or HR policies were broken. If you feel there are opportunities for us to improve, please reach out to me DorisNg@LiveNation.com.

Low pay

Pros

Free concerts and exciting industry.

Cons

After the excitement of going to concerts wear off after a year, you realize the low pay relative to peers in other industries suck. If you're in a role other than digital marketing or HR, your domain knowledge will be pigeonholed to concerts/ticketing and your skill sets are not transferable to other industries. Many of the people there are stuck with low pay because they have no where else to go.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. Live entertainment is definitely an exciting, yet niche industry where most of our roles are not general like HR or Marketing. That said, we’ve had a lot of employees grow into experts of the trade – gaining strong technical skills in multiple areas of what they do. And typically, the soft skills you acquire working in a unique business like ours are transferable across industries and are very key to our culture. We do annual compensation reviews to ensure we’re offering appropriate pay based on role and market data. If you’re struggling or experiencing a disrespectful environment, per your advice to management, please reach out to your HR Partner to discuss your concerns.
