Pros

Benefits were good, casual attire, 2 week winter break (for some departments)

Cons

Promotions based on favoritism. All the good employees have left because of management. Very high turnover. Company is only worried about making money not the employee. Management lack of communication

Pros

Cool to be working with major events and musical artists. Interesting problem solving opportunities due to so many divisions, departments, brands, business requirements and stakeholders.

Cons

Team as a whole was disempowered, reactionary and run on fear based management style. Team morale generally low due to persistent threat of layoffs.

The hardest job I ever loved.

Pros

Flexible schedule, pet-friendly workplace (because you will be working all the time), room for movement (if you're in with the right side), telecommute options, incredible resume opportunity, real "in" to the industry Free shows for your venue. This is the job everyone wants but few can actually do, especially long-term.

Cons

Zero work-life balance even though they really help try to get you there. Hours are long, unforgiving at times and very fluctuating. You're always "on." There is never a down time except for the two weeks between Xmas and New Years. The reason everyone gets those off is because no one takes vacation otherwise. It also was a yearly occurrence that shows needed to be prepped for onsale during this period. There's always someone better, faster and cheaper than you. It will try your patience and skill -- and sanity-- but it's amazing if you can stand it all. Work-life balance is pretty impossible.
