First, the low pay. Everyone, from entry to management is underpaid. The corporate side feels employees will get to at least be around the things they love, like music and other forms of entertainment, but as one manager would constantly tell me as to why Live Nation would choose to raise ticket prices "love dont pay the bills". Never saw why that manager never thought to apply that to the situations of revolving door of employees, constantly leaving because they pay was not enough to survive on in the city of San Francisco.
No benefits if not working full time, and they try hard to keep everyone working only part time. Basically, making sure they don't have to give benefits, typical corporate greed taking advantage of the workers who help make them money...
I worked in a venue that served food, and employees had to pay full price if they wanted any food.
The TMWIN software the use is so outdated it causes extra work to be produced by ticketing staff, easily could be updated with an initial cost, but in the long run will save them money.
