More corporate than necessary, but an entertainment powerhouse

Pros

Amazing people on the ground in each of the local promoter offices/markets. Ability to do something that a person loves, work in the music industry & expand contacts within this business (agents, managers, production). Opportunity to see incredibly live performances/shows, a huge perk of putting in 60+ hrs per week during the peak ampitheater season.

Cons

Company gets away with paying employees on the ground terrible wage for the sake of working for a "cool" company. Higher ups/senior management is very much a boys club, though standard in the music industry.

Great for concert enthusiasts poor for advancement.

Pros

Was at every concert for free, met several artists and got to go backstage with minimal effort. Recommended for anyone who wants the little extras that very few ever get to see from their favorite artists.

Cons

Manager was new to his role and although he was wonderful at his job he needed help giving direction. I learned very little about the music industry, you must be able to work independently often.
