Pros

In technology they are moving away from perl and going toward Java with newer technologies, so there were lots of opportunities opening up. Most of the non-management people were great to work with.

Cons

Can sometimes be very political - depends on your deparment. Some of the management that have been there long term were sort of inflexible and tougher to deal with.

Good benefits, decent salary, don't need to know about the music business because they are trying to remake it

Cons

Ambiguous politics, hard time learning, the company likes bad music. If you are very much into music and want to get into the industry and make a difference, this is not the way to do it. LN is the evil empire that is trying to consolidate everything and everyone into a tasteless mess. Business model is unproven, the company hasn't yet turned a profit so there is no indication a job will last.
