Pros

Flexible hours. Superb work life balance for many teams. Middle mgmt motivated. Customers seem to get good use out of product

Cons

Liveramp has multiple very very well paid executives on payroll who contribute almost nothing to the org. They seem to just be waiting out their vest periods and it’s really a shame for the culture of the organization. There is a gap between the top and the employees on the ground. CEO / CFO who run the company out of touch from what the day to day realities of liveramp are. They appear to only be interested in contributing if it has to do with investor relations.

Pros

- Interesting technical challenges - Friendly engineers

Cons

- Too much bureaucracy. Engineers are not given the freedom or time to fix the problem. Has become top-to-bottom leadership in the recent past. While it makes sense for leadership to make big decisions, it doesn't make sense to not focus on addressing technical debt and failing to innovate. - Salary and benefits could be higher

Teammate - Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback with us. I’m sorry this is how you feel about bureaucracy and having the time and freedom to fix problems. One of the LiveRamp values is “we get stuff done,” and while we encourage autonomy, for some instances process brings in necessary discipline since the stakes are much higher with our customers entrusting us with their valuable datasets. In cases where we have no process or don’t run tests before deploying, we accrue debt inadvertently and deliberately. As a leadership team, we agree that addressing tech debt matters as much as innovation. Tech debt has an impact on our engineering velocity, team morale, and Product health. We encourage devs to raise tech debt pain points as part of their sprint/OKR prioritization, raise awareness where we need common infrastructure, tools, frameworks, or other support, and share best practices and learnings with the broader team. Separately, we welcome your feedback on our pay and benefits. If there are specific issues you'd like to share, I'd love to hear more. We have a team that continually reviews our entire benefits package regularly to make sure we pay competitively. -Mohsin
