Pros

Great workplace culture and very inspiring people at team and mid management level

Cons

The leadership is a walking catastrophe. When you see that Travis Clinger, normally responsible of adressability partnership, has been promoted to a C level position while Google leadership refuses to sit at the table with him, there is a problem. LiveRamp was a product company but everything went sideway when Warren Jenson and Scott Howe, the CFO and CEO, got more involved after the selling of Acxiom. They kept managing LiveRamp as a service / agency company and it doesn't work. Not a single integration of the company acquired has been successful in my five year tenure and before. And the worst thing is the decision making process. Leadership doesn't listen to anything or anyone beside other company C-levels or investors. All decisions are top down with very little room to work with and for inovation at team level.

Pros

The company has strong engineers. Somehow average benefits.

Cons

Manager is always right no matter what. Manager belief is always prioritized. They never understand the employee's stand and employee opinion is disrespected. Being a small company no option to change teams so once stuck you have the only option to leave the company. They pretend to care about employees but not true. I had a family emergency and my leaves denied because it's short notice. What the hack !! i mean emergencies are not planned. So never join the company as Manager is King here. Employee upbringing and professional growth are discouraged here. There are different rules based on how close you are to manager. The company will never support when you need some help from them. Bottom line stay away.

Fellow LiveRamper - Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry this is how you feel about your experience. It sounds like there may be a miscommunication around a leave request. We do regularly gather feedback about manager performance and feedback about our engineering managers in London has been overwhelmingly positive. If you would like to follow up about this situation and help clear things up please reach out to me on Slack or email. - Brandon (on behalf of Mohsin Hussain, Chief Technology Officer)

Pros

-Everything depends on your team and manager; there are some great managers in the company who people proudly follow -Select departments continue to have budget for offsites and hiring; but only those the leadership values and predominantly roles/teams that generate money

Cons

-They promoted flexibility for the last few years and many of us joined the company with this in mind. But clearly leadership wants to eventually mandate a return to office (we get bi-weekly emails about coming back already) -CEO is focused on old school idea that butts in seats are the reason the company isn’t doing well (instead of the many red flags, business gaps, and dumpster fires across the teams) -People Team used to look out for employees but majority of the empathetic leaders left and now new leadership mostly focuses on cost cutting and appeasing C-Suite -it is clear the company is not doing well on the market or internally… -Attrition is sky high

Fellow Liveramper, our ears are open to this feedback. We work hard to invest in our people, and make decisions that provide the best possible outcomes. We always want our teammates to bring their best selves to work, and I’d love to have more dialogue around this so we can continue to innovate and grow.
